CHECK ELIGIBILITYLiving with early Alzheimer’s disease or mild memory problems?

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a brain condition that gets worse over time and causes problems with memory, thinking, behavior, and doing everyday tasks like bathing and paying bills. It's the most common type of dementia, affecting about 57 million people worldwide, and it's a leading cause of death and disability in older adults, placing a huge burden on family caregivers. Right now, there are seven approved medications for AD, with most only helping with symptoms temporarily and two slowing the disease from getting worse.

The investigational study drug is designed to support your brain's "cleanup crew" - special brain cells called microglia that help keep your brain healthy. In Alzheimer's disease, these cleanup cells may stop working properly, allowing harmful protein buildups (called amyloid plaques and tau tangles) to form in the brain. The investigational study drug is designed to help these cleanup cells work better so they can clear away these buildups and support brain health.
We are testing an oral (capsule) investigational study drug to see whether it can safely and effectively slow down early Alzheimer's disease.
At your appointments, the following may be performed

Height, weight, vital signs and neurologic exam

ECG (checks your heartbeat)

Uses magnets to take pictures of your brain using no radiation

Uses a safe radioactive tracer to look at protein buildups in your brain

Short tests on a device

What is a placebo?
A placebo looks like the investigational study drug being tested and is also given in the same way as the investigational study drug that is being studied, but it does not have any active ingredients. You will take one capsule every day.
Is there a cost to participate?
There is no cost to participate. All study-related exams, the investigational study drug or placebo and study-related medical care are provided. There is no insurance required to take part in this study. You may be compensated for time and travel.

Sanofi believes that everyone should have the opportunity to take part in clinical trials. It is important to include people who have been historically under-represented in clinical trials. Sanofi is committed to inclusivity in our studies.

Version 1.0, Approved 03/2026
The investigational study drug is not approved by health authorities such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is still under investigation for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease so its effectiveness and safety have not been established.
